Types and Selection of Pneumatic Valve Accessories

During the use of pneumatic valves, it is usually necessary to configure some accessories to improve the performance of pneumatic valves or improve the use efficiency of pneumatic valves. Common accessories of pneumatic valve include air filter, solenoid valve, limit switch, electric positioner, etc. In pneumatic technology, the combination of air filter, pressure reducing valve and oil atomizer is called pneumatic triplet.

Types of pneumatic valve accessories:

Double-acting pneumatic actuator: two-position control of valve opening and closing. (double acting)

Spring return actuator: the valve will open or close automatically when the air circuit is cut off or fails. (single acting)

Single solenoid valve: the valve opens or closes when the power is supplied, and the valve closes or opens when the power is de-energized (explosion-proof type is available).

Double solenoid valve: the valve opens when one coil is energized, and the valve closes when the other coil is energized, with memory function (explosion-proof type is available).

Limit switch feedback device: Remotely transmit the signal of the switch position of the valve (explosion-proof type is available).

Electric positioner: according to the size of the current signal (standard 4-20mA) to adjust and control the medium flow of the valve (explosion-proof type is available).

Pneumatic positioner: adjust and control the medium flow of the valve according to the size of the air pressure signal (marked 0.02-0.1MPa).

Electrical converter: Convert current signal into air pressure signal, used together with pneumatic positioner (explosion-proof type available).

Manual operating mechanism: automatic control can be manually operated under abnormal conditions.
